We have all come across them in the course of our daily work both ashore and afloat and they come in various shapes, sizes and types....Total Puller,Absolute Puller,and the top of the range model the Complete and Utter Puller are the ones I'm most familiar with,although there may be other versions that I don't know about.

    there`s also the left/right handed puller and seemingly with practice you can switch hands mid stroke without missing a beat. here in donegal nothing short of the two handed long stroke puller is any good. :whistle: :whistle:
    better watch those health and saftey gadgies doesnt clock that,,theyll be asking if you have suffisent experiance for working it and have you filled out your risk assesment book on the dangers of working it

    And got certificates to prove it Barry  ;) 8) Just went through my mind after I posted that somewhere in a dusty cupboard in this house is a wee winner's medal for a pulling race in a six oared dinghy when I was in the sea cadets...we were the fastest pullers in that race ;)

    haha ma left hands hopeless gets lazy on it the pullers r sore on it lol
    i was told a good tip sit on your hand for a 10 min before you try and operate them,that way your hand wont get sore cause its numb
