fine looking big herrin too.
think this would have been pre 85 frank when the clyde had a good fishery cant quite rem rightly maybe some of the other older clyde men will correct me but it was around a 45 unit quota that was on
was that per day or per week? over on this side the pelagic boats reckon they have never seen as much herrin here as there is now-not even in the big years. they must be breeding like mad-and our boys are now held hard on the quota and they can`t fish inside the 12mile-it`s a pity the wee boats couldn`t get VIa quota there`d be a nice handy few months at it here.
per day frank two boats tried it here last week but the ones they seen were small
