our week of cod fishin wit our pathetic allocated quota

our 2 ton quota gave us one week work on top of that had to rent and used that up as well, mean while other boats on the black box scheme, (fish for as much fish as u like wit no worry about quotas) are mostly tied up not even goin to sea while there are tones of cod swimmin and we cant touch them helpppppppppppp

With the prices i have seen in shetland i will keep the ship as well ashore. Then you have to see that Norways is delivering tons of cod to all markets just to get rid of them. I had this week 2 tons of norwegain cod which i told them that more likely i will not be able to pay them more than 2 euros, finally the sale ended at 2,5 but has been the most stressing week trying to sell cod to all possible customers and forceing the sale just to get rid of the fish!.

Hope they give you more quota when they see the cod jumping in the boxes while the ship is tied on the dock!
We are haveing the same problem with megs now! anywhere you go you only get megs and megs and poor quota has made some ships keep at home also because prices are just funny. All i hear every day when someone calls me offering megs and i give them a price idea of how is it going on the auction is "jesus crist!"
