im sure u steamed pass us the other night i was turnin as u come past me, not many boats about out of the knock at the mo is there
hello mike, im not on that boat anymore but it was out, i now work out of queenborough, looking into getting something closer to home though, fishing is a bit slack at the minute isnt it?
yea been good for cod but nout else we are back to 2 handed again now as are last crew fecked of cos we scared him wen me dad and i argued lol, he was a bit young and not in the real world yet so after a new crew now lol, what boat are ya workin on now what is the janeen up to is he codin
im on the boy daniel out of queenborough, but i have a deal in the pipeline to work closer to home, i have to travel 135mile round trip lol, think janeen has there sole gear on and are just scratching about abit, you go three handed then? much sole at the mo? seen a few but nothing substantial
no soles at the mo we have a cod net on, yea we have or had a 3rd had so i can work the boat wi some one else so me dad aint at sea so much so he can chil a bit also it works out great havin someone at home doin gear etc while the boats always workin , trouble is the lad we had just left school and it was his first job and he did not like the couple of times we argued but any one else older would have known u get that fathera nd son and ignored it, there is lots of cod about but quota is the prob what u fishin for at the mo, where is queenborough what side of the thames is that
yer that happens when at sea a little argument never hurt anyone, queenborough is up the medway on the south side of the river, but if my plans let me ill be fishing from paglesham with me own boat, paperwork gets signed on thursday so will just have to see, the problem with cod atm is tht theres too much of it, have you been gettin a gd price? apparently some ramsgate boats had there fish returned unsold
we get a workable price of the turk its all in price but its ok, are ya gettin a trawler, dont sound good for the ramsgate prices then, how is the sarah jayne gettin on, we think its going to be a while yet for the soles to arrive still really cold aint it
thats alright i spose, yer im getting a trawler hopefully before the spring deals pretty much sealed, steve's boat is up the creek having matenence dont know what tho, i reckon 23rd of march things will start to look up, seems to be gettin a tad warmer aint it
i dunno what part of the country are you from lol it feels cold still to me we aint gettin the frosts every night but still gettin them every so often last week, we can only do one more trip on the cod as aint got enough quota left had to rent some cod quota and only got a bit of that left, then we will have to wait about for soles how did u get on pairin wit the red boat last year or was it 2007, what sort of trawler u hopin to get
hello mike, yer imfrom shoeburyness, we did ok but the boats wernt matched properly, wre gtting an under 10 stern trawler, it draws 6ft and is only 2 years old so well worth it, hopefully itll be a gd year, we will have to keep in touch while were out there
