Did this family no have 2 or 3 boats on the go at one time,did they not own the Alkaid or Loyal Friend.
i have an old postcard wae her wae the whaleback on lyin next to ma dads boat in the town here.
maybe dad will comfirn the alkaid bit but they owned the faithful and loyal friend bob

The Alkaid was a differant family Bob, at one point the 3 brothers had 3 boats, Alkaid, Audacious and the Wanderer.

caught fish for fun when in the clyde , absolute gentlemen andy and his boys, few more like them it might have been a different job !
