looks like identicall ship both halfs,forward is reverse and reverse is forward if at makes sense,lol
Yes it goes in a straight line - backward and forwards between Manhattan and Staten Island all day long with not much in the way of turning involved.
If anyone goes on her in the future its worth bearing in mind that the best place for a view isn't where the tourists go, i.e. upper decks, but on the car deck where both ends are open and give great views.
Of course the best thing about the ferry is that it is FREE - how many in the UK are free
