mary mclean on the right ?
Correct Chris.....What about the other boat built by Herd & McKenzie, Buckie? Which design do prefer.....Millers or Weatherheads? In fact which yard built the best ringers and which was the best ringer? Only for fun, no prizes. I'll kick off with Golden Gleam TT30 Dickie of Tarbert.
Sorry Brian can't pick one as I think they were all the bonniest boats ever built.
Try and show me an ugly one!

hi boys cannie say i agree wi ye that they were awe bonny boats think aboot the valhalla an the fairwind they were like bent bannans
i would swap Shemaron for a boat like Mary Mclean , something about that back end !
the jasmine is lying down in southampton in need of some TLC, the guy that has her stripped the wheelhouse of her to replace with a bigger deckhouse version, said it was rotten which i don't believe for a minute, it was built by donna mcdougall on 1975 and i scraped and varnished it every year from the age of 14. if its a boat with a nice arse then you can't get much better, i always loved the mary mclean tho, it was in the harbour when we left in the morning and moored up when we came in at night, ducha never ventured west in the summer and i always thought that shamus and him were the epitomy of work to live not live to work, and a braw pair oh lads into the bargain.
