    SHE IS EX SEAHOUSES AND ST ABBS
    The Rachel Douglas purchased 3 years ago by Ted Smith, Peter Weightman & Gordon Brown and has been brought back to original condition as she was in year of build - 1947.She was refurbished at Fred Crowells Boatyard at South Shields.

    Overall length: 11.67 metres
    Tonnage: 14.12

    I think that wheelhouse came off Robert Dunlop's Rose Valley out of Newhaven(vaguely goes through my mind that Robert (Golly Me) was a joiner to trade and built it himself,but I'm not 100% sure about that) Would need to ask Bow Tow on here,he would know. It's definately not the wheelhouse she had on in the 60s,which was probably the original,I know that for a fact

    There was a bonny pic of her in St Abbs with her wee wheelhouse on Young Tayne's site Mark.I think it was Ally who posted it.The boys who restored her deserve the highest praise for their work,no doubt about that.It's guys like that who should be in the New Year's honours list for the work they do,no some of the wan*ers who only get a gong because they greased the right palm,donated a big wedge to the party coffers or made millions selling records. O0
    Hang on Ronnie, I've got the C.D.M. and Bar and I'm not a big w*nker  O0

    I'd have thocht that you two, Ronnie and Steve would have at least had the EWHO medal.
