An interesting fact - In the hours and days following the terrorist attacks on New York City, many individuals and companies provided assistance in evacuating Manhattan and provided other support services that aided first responders in their efforts to rescue, evacuate, and recover.  MSRC was one of those companies in position to assist.  MSRC provided the 210 ft. Oil Spill Response Vessel, New Jersey Responder based out of Perth Amboy, New Jersey.  The New Jersey Responder was docked at Battery Park supporting helicopter operations, providing lighting, berthing, water supplies, communications support and much needed medical facilities in those early days following the attacks.
