If you zoom in on the buwarks...note the rot (which has now been replanked) in addition a landing derrick has beed fitted.
Nice to see her without a block of flats built on top of her.
Looks like a nice restoration . Spoke to Brian in Tarbert summer 2007 and had a look round the boat : he had a few plans for her then ( and a bit of rot to sort out!) But must agree with previous comment re wheelhouse.Keep them the  way they were when they were working they
    look right that way. :)

Just seen a recent pic on the photos web site (not the one above). I have never been able to add comments on that site, but many regularly look at both. OffScotland took the pic and Explorer commented that she is for sale. I do not have her up for sale and am still busy, with Fairlie, renewing all poor/bad wood. She looks a bit shabby at the moment but is in the best condition for many years. GeeBee also commented on her and thanks for that. I hope that anyone who recognises those named will pass this on to them, many thanks. Any more info on the boat is always welcome and so is anybody who wants to have a closer look, when in Tarbert.
BEAUTIFULL PIC ANYONE KNOW THE BUILD HISTORY ETC?

Hi Earlsferry....She was built at Peterhead by Richard Irvin in 1956 although some sources say 1957. Just under 40ftx15ft. Owned by Robert Reid PD184 as a seine net boat with a wooden wheelhouse and mizzen placed in front. Bought in 1969 by Neil McAllister of Tarbert and numbered TT24 and renamed Catriona.Francis Lovie bought her in 1978 and renamed her Harmony to replace his previous Harmony. In 1980 she had a steel replacement wheelhouse fitted.  She last prawn trawled under the ownership of Alan Morrison. 2002 deregistered and under 3 private owners and then bought by me in 2005. The photo above was taken in 2007 after a paint job at Jecks Quay, Tarbert.
Since then I have had bulwarks replaced and the deck scraped of 40+ years of deck paint and re caulking and some hull re fastening. The fish hold has been converted to seating but the focsle and engine room and Volvo Penta MD70B are being left but smartened up.  The fish hold could soon be returned to the original if I ever wanted to change her back. I am very fortunate to have Phil Robertson, owner of St Clair, who is doing the replacement of rotten sections and making 2 new wooden masts to replace the current steel ones. She does look a bit untidy at the moment but she is in the best condition for many years.  A burn off of the hull paint and a repaint in the spring should see her looking something like.
