    eugh, horrible horrible winches, hated the one we had with a vengeance, hope this one behaves better, good pull on them but if anything went wrong with the mechanics it was a nightmare, mind you the one aboard the QW had a botched repair done on it just before we bought the boat that was only meant to last till they got the boat sold then cause massive problems for the future owner, me!!! hindsight would have ripped the fecker oot then and there and dispatch it to the deep. sprung steel brakebands had been welded after breaking rather than replaced then repair hidden. they both died young so there is such a thing as karma.
