Decommed 2002, what a waste of a fine looking economical vessel
She was an excellent sea boat, partnered her at sprats for 4 or 5 seasons, well balanced with the heavy gardner. You could get an extra 10 lifts on the deck on a fine night...
Aye JM she could thump hersel in a sea all the same but what W/B didnae.
Crewed on her the last time she was at ring net back in the 70's when we were getting re-engined, tried the mid water through the day and ringed on shore at night.
Nice men to work with but had herring every night every way possible, boiled, fried, potted you name it Cappy made it,went through tons awe pan bread too !
