    "This vessel was originally a motorised tug known as PRESTWICK, built in 1955 by P. K. Harris & Sons Ltd. at Appledore for service on the Tyne. Her official number was 186840 and she has a Vee engine with twelve cylinders, made by the General Motors Corporation in Newcastle in 1944 and fitted in 1955. She also has two 30 kilowatt generators and her bunkers hold 36.5 tonnes of diesel oil. Her maximum speed is 11.5 knots. In 1987, she was purchased by Medway Port Service."
