At Peterhead, late 60's.
Looks similar to the star of peace (pd) ?
Star of Peace came out of Irvins..that's Irvin's boatyard in the background, and Shalimar from Forbes. But boats were needing more wheelhouse space as technology offered more equipment... eg: radar, fishlupe, plotter etc, so this was the fashion, similar to Star of Peace. Wooden windows still going on to wheelhouses (some older guys will remember the leather straps used to open & close the windows) .. water poured in on a poor day.
AYE AND THE WEDGE JAMMED IN TO KEEP IT SHUT,,

I think she fished from Kilkeel for a number of years
she sure did for many years was fishing at douglas bank herring boom in the seventryish. very fine boat was in kilkeel for very long career.
These wheelhouses look strange! mair room for yer feet than for electronics at a usable height!?
Think she went originally to great-lines and seine net. Boat very similar to Duthies PD357.
Two-tone hulls were the fashion at this time!! (And two-tone cars)
