used to fish at the outside tanker and in at the banks quite regularly. took a lot of fish from there. and that was when people thought there was no fish there!! she was a very well rigged boat john tar. 3 reels and a seine winch forrit and all the trawl gear aft. john speirs went away with him for a trip and he said she was a great boat to work at the ropes.
For the benefit of Garry M....I might be a f**king idiot,I might possibly be a fanny at times,but I strongly object to being called narrow minded...that I am very definately not

I'm thick skinned even if it had been directed at me,but I did see the target ye were aiming at !! Just for the record though,despite his "forthright views and opinions",ye couldnae fault Austen for his go ahead attitude and determination,and no everybody can make a pound at the long ropes(I doubt if I could have ) I have to hand it to the man for that.
heard austen is standing for parliament ?
