SHE WAS JOHN AFFLECKS FIRST FAST POTTER,TRUST BOUGHT LAST YEAR FROM WEST SIDE.

It was the first on a promise that john affleck owned,not this one.This one has always belonged to the present charter skipper and has never been registered as a commercial fishing boat.The first oap is now at cambeltown I think.

The boat in the link is the first "On A Promise" Steve, pictured in Newquay, Cornwall in 1985 not too long after she was built. She was later sold to the Berwick area & became Soph Ash. Coincidently both this OAP & the one in your photo are Cygnus Cyfish 33's.
