what a shame to see her go out of service ;D :'(she was first stationed at scrabster my old man was coxwain at scrabster for about 25 years.she seen many a poor nite in the pentland firth and she was well tested ;) ;D.this boat earned my father a bronze medal from the RNLI for the rescue of a chemical tanker that was on fire and was drifting ashore towards dunnet head in a nw gale.he was able to tow the ship clear of dunnet head and towed it into a bay on the east side of the head so it could drop anchor so they could put the fire out. ;D ;D

Was talking to some of the Buckie crew and seemingly she was to go to Iceland once Longhope got their Tamar back, but possibly
with the Credit Crunch!! she went to Poole where she still is.
