    originally built as rising tide for burtonport in the mevagh yard ,downings , co.donegal. was regina pacis for a while also-and your right jammy-matchsticks as far as i know.

    aye the back of the galley was cut down to give them room on the stern for trawling,

    cutting the galley on them was a common trick here-they were all built to shoot of the side and had big long galleys-no room on starn so they cut them for starn trawling.
