This one was scrapped at Macduff in the late 1990's and was replaced with another boat (Mizpah PD105) which was renamed Astra II SY153. Astra II was sold off last year and is now called Good Intent III FR79.

no.it was a guy that came fae sy that was in the college wae me.stayed up beside the cabberfay(wrong spelling)the only ted that i knew worked on the endeavor at that time with a guy called tucker.
Aye my brother was onboard the Endeavour and he did a spell on the Astra too. He now owns the Kaylana SY21.
did he try a spell at the rigs or standby around that time
Yes he did a spell at standby and went back fishing round 1995 on the Flowing Stream and then skippered a few boats before buying an under 10m boat in 1998 called River Island, the sold her in 2001 and bought a 55ft twin rigger called Pisces and had her until 2005 until she sank and went on to buy the boat he has now.

i know him.used to take beer wae him in the clachan and the lewis at the weekends.he even managed to cut the toe out of ma rigger boot with a stihll saw at wan point when he was riggin gear for the endeavor.lol
