Grand Turk

Grand Turk seen here in Whitby Harbour (UK) 2008.

Built in Marmaris, Turkey, and launched in 1997, this ship is the result of Mike Turk's life long ambition to build and operate a representative vessel of the Nelson era. The Grand Turk has already become famous for her starring roles in the major television series 'HORNBLOWER' and 'LONGITUDE'.

Now based in St Katharine's Haven, London, the ship is open for visitors 7 days a week and features an on-board exhibition illustrating what life was like in Nelson's navy.

The Grand Turk is also available for corporate or private charter, both in the Haven and also at sea, offering a unique venue to celebrate or promote any occasion

    Hi Paul

Looked to me as though The Grand Turk was open to the public - for a fee of course. Always remember seeing her at North Shields Fishquay a few years back for the WOW Festival - 2001?
