The MHB SWORDFISH™ is a real workhorse. One of the Wave Provider class she is fitted with twin Volvo D9 425 bhp engines and Hamilton 322 water jets giving her a top speed of around 21 knots and exceptional manoeuvrability. She is built to serve in the busy harbour of Gibraltar at the mouth of the Mediterranean providing logistics support to ships using the anchorage where she joins three other Wave Provider class boats operating in similar roles. She has seating for 12 passengers in the comfortable wheelhouse as well as for 3 crew and she has a large working deck which is laid out to accommodate palletised cargo and which is served by a Palfinger 6.5 tonne metre hydraulic knuckle boom crane. She is outfitted with a comprehensive navigation and communications package and she makes a rugged and very capable all weather support boat.
