    I think it was the priest island the guiding star was lost, we came out of loch ewe that morning
    we were getting herring at aultbea that week.
    George-mc you are right thats where she was lost some bloody night that was donald was hauling at the priest he new no more till the mizzen sail was near ripped out of her they managed to get ashore,  I was at that fishing we were back and forard to Lochewe for a month could'nt get in the boom was across you could run along the boom solid herring from the keel to the bottom to near the bouys. when they did lift the boom the first boats in there was the Moray Lass &Triumph we passed them at the rhu they were away for mallaig full up. you must have been with Tommy in the N/AGAIN he was along with Peter McDougall the only other clyde men were Incentive.. Arctic Moon...Integrity..Avail. I remember a fleet of boats leaving Lochewe going home for christmas if I remember rightly I think the Noble's and his neebour was among them they left early afternoon we were the last boat's to leave just north of the Rhu there's a bite called shepard bite the Beatons 2 boat went in there no one took any notice of them boats steamed passed them the Katrnyn shot we got a 156 cran of them we went to Gairloch Beaton'S 2 boat went to ULLAPOOL we left Gairloch midnight for home.
    I thats right willie I think there was some of the Avoch ringer's there as well.
    George-mc. yes Avoch Scalpay kyle Hopeman some mallaig boats  the Minni McLean Big Jimmy knew that parts like the back of his hand, We knew it well also till that  monday night the point inside Horsie island got in our way, good by summer isles Fraserburgh here we come new keel and what ever. skipper was'nt aboard he was in HOSP some one says its on the sc/news that we've ran ashore I hope Peters not got his ear phones on they'll have to f....n sedate him.
