anyone know where this is??  Sorting through a pile of my dads stuff and found a box or 50 of slides, looks familiar but can't place it.  He was a civil engineer, did a lot of work in the clyde and up the west coast in the 60's and 70's, think Ardrossan pier was one of his projects

looks like an old macbraynes bus on the pier

    Its Armadale alright the old ferry berth , a link span is on th e nearer side now

    realized as soon as i said brodick i was wrong .wasin a hurry. wouldnt see any land in the background from that angle of a pic taken in brodick.well not so close as that anyway.
    agree with it being armadale...
