    starting to be a thing of the past a good wooden creel made with hardwood bottoms and bamboo bows a skilled man your father Robbie.

    that is me in the blue thc your right Bryan its one of those skills that has nearly been lost ..you dont have to soak plastic pipe for a couple o days a fore you can bend it without it splitting ,a true genious and how many can knit an eye into a creel nowadays properly?

    aye a hand woven eye will out fish a bit of cut out netting any day a bit slower but pays in the long run.
