She had towed the North Sea Trader into the Tyne for emergency engine repairs.

    Hi Gavin

    There are two Tugs carrying the name ENGLISHMAN the other one is a Bahamas registered 1,782 gross ton Offshore Tug/Supply Ship carrying the IMO 7408914.

    The ENGLISHMAN that United Towing Co Ltd, Hull had was actually sunk by a bomb dropped by a German Aircraft 40nm West of  Tory Island (Co Donegal) on 21.1.41
