The ex Tarbet ringer Silver Crest at Fort Augustus on Loch Ness, before she finally settled on the bottom.
great photo, shame about the condition of the boat. Nobles of FR built 1934 as BA61. 1950 to Tarbert TT75 from Campbeltown CN76. Somebody must own her...sympathy and nostalgia, of which I have plenty as many of us have also, is not enough....money,skill and time are needed. Not really a time to renovate an old boat. I hope somebody can salvage her or help her owner.
she is now lying on the shore at drumnadrochit.
What condition...beyond reasonable repair?
What a right bonny photo !
Aye someone should go and rescue this one...she's a nice looking boatie and shame she's lying neglected...least she no at bottom of loch now though

nice boat, its no picnic running these old boats the work is endless for example I'm facing the prospect of re nailling shemaron maybe OK but some people think it needs to be done , sometimes i wish i had a modern fiberglass boat
Aye I'm always wanting an old wooden boat I know is just lying and wasting away but keep getting told fiberglass one better for just those reasons....nothing like the wooden ones for looks though
