Tarbert Harbour 1960's

Tarbert Harbour 1960's

Picture taken from the Frigate by my Dad, owner of silver and black Cambridge in Photo. We think the end boat is the Golden West, which unknown to the old man he would buy some 15 Yrs later, hopefully others can name the boats better than me.

One for the Tarbert team, when we had the West, there was evidence of lower stringer damage and a new forfoot. We heard that she hit another boa in Loch Fyne in the fog, anyone know anything about that?

    George,

It shows how small a world it is Bob and I used to go out with Doods on Utopia after we converted the west during the 70 - 80s.  We are getting some divers to go down and have a look at the west in the next few months to see what condition she is in and hopefully get some pictures of her where she lies.
