Scottish King - A378 seen here undergoing ongoing restoration in Hartlepool Marina (North East England) on 16th December.

Scottish King was a former Fishing Vessel which during its time was also renamed Grampian King.

    Great to see that there are some of the classic Aberdeen trawlers still intact and presumably sea worthy.They are brilliant sea boats and can handle any weather.The 'King' had a great four man berth at the stern wonder if its still there.
    A fellow North Star trawler Admiral Jellicoe was sadly, very recently scrapped.It spent its latter years on south coast of England as a partially converted house boat.The owners lost the moorings and could not find alternative moorings,. It was for sale for as little as 10k but sadly no buyers came forth so scrapped it was !!

    I get the impression that this is still very much a project and it didn't appear that anyone was living onboard - could be wrong though. As to her being 'sea worthy', well she floats at the very least  :smitten:
