    I'm Ch. Mate on this vessel and at the time of the photo we were doing seismic support with the CGG Search. Working around 100mls ESE of Aberdeen. At this time (March 2009) the Southwind is in the Med. with Search but because of her age the contract is due to finish.
    The sister ship of Southwind is presently working in the North Sea as VOS Northwind and doing standby work. Maybe people will remember the two vessels by their previous names of Swallow and Swift.
