BCK331 Robert Scott in Whitehaven today.
Built by Irvin's....hope they can sort this out.
The poor bloke has worked his nuts off on her, what happened?
Sorry doggy don't know any more, just saw pic on Facebook.
looks like there might be a stoved in plank midships on the waterline. Lump of wood got trapped between her and the wall perhaps and with a swell running?
And she doesn't apear to have any thing you could call an adequate fender so she may well have been giving the wall some knocks.
What's going on up there?
I used to be involved with this but family commitments got too much. Left it alone earlier this year & haven't been back since.
It's such a shame. The guys involved don't really know what they're doing. The whole project has been cobbled together. Such a shame; there is a beauty 6LXB on her. It was on the hard at Fleetwood for over a year before it came to Whitehaven.

I hope this can be sorted , been checking Shemaron this weekend "there but for the grace of god "
from what I heard, they were taking it out of the dock to do repairs perhaps put her on the hard? when it started taking on water and they managed to put her there, but that was just hearsay.

Thanks for that Richie.
Always sorry to hear of such a problem with old boats, especially Irvin's, as there are not many left.
Please keep us posted if you hear any more.
As you can see by over 400 hits, many people are interested.
