I fished on the Wanderer 11 for a short while when Pimmy Maclean Mallaig bought her from John Gourley Pitenweem 1988/89, Pimmy renamed her Beulah . Originally built for MacLean's Tobermory as Aquila OB99, beautiful in varnish a very strong nobles build. I love the ringers in varnish but the Aquila also looks very good in this colour scheme.
shes better BLUE eddie
The first boat Big Jimmy McLean Pimmys father had was called the BEULAH, built in Lossie he had her for yr's his first crew was Ross McMahon and Lewie Kennedy, ross left him to buy the Virgin from Eriskay Lewie left him to buy the Coronation from Fisherrow Beulah a floating gold mine, Big Jimmy a GENTLEMAN.
the wee beulah caught some lobsters top man out of mallaig big jimmy.i think he replaced her with minnie mclean is that correct willie.
Yes Jim he did replace her with the Minnie MacLean which was also purpose built for working creels he worked creels all over the west coast from the Pentland to Portrush with that little Beulah.
where's her new home?
