Still don't like this name what did this pub used to be called
Golden Fleece
I used to have a pint in there most saturday nights, on my way back from whitley bay ice rink, in the 60's ,whilst waiting for the ferry to South Shields, a little bit safer than "the
Jungle" was.
Jungle" was.
Both good pubs got in them for years plenty character about them .Never had any bother in either or any of the pubs in Sheilds.
