Scots Miss formerly Maireared in Goes Holland
Nice looking boat, i wonder what she sails like
Scots Miss will never win any races but she has done 8.5 kn under sail but usually it is nearer 6 kn. Obviuosly she does not point very far into the ewind and tacking can be an art. but good fun. As there are only 2 on board we rarely get the main up so she sails very nicely on the headsail and mizzen.
Is this where you have her based?
Unfortunately no, her home is in North Kent. Goes is a lovely place and that mooring is right in the center of the town we could keep her there but it is a long way to go to keep up with the maintenance.

Hi Jay,
We have owned her for 38 years and yes she is still for sale at £49,950. Unfortunately, we have had 3 people go a long way to buy her and then had to pull out due to personal/financial reasons so she has just come back on the market.
She is a lovely traditional boat and we are unhappy about selling her but due to health reasons and our cruising plans I need to move onto a much smaller plastic shallower draft vessel.
