Originally Campbeltown built Opportune

POOR BOATIE !

Debra
was she built as the opportune? i don't recognise her, or is she the first boy andrew which was renamed opportune? whichever she looks as if she had alterations at some point in her life, something about her just doesn't look right for a campbeltown design, think i saw most come out the shed or in the shed and she looks off, not that she looks ugly or anything, just wrong for CN design, willie downie would have kittens looking at her.
lack of foremast was throwing me, but still think she's been altered in the stern.
lack of foremast was throwing me, but still think she's been altered in the stern.
She was launched as Opportune BCK105 about 1972, and had a transom stern added later.
that explains it then
yes built as opportune bck reg,my auntie presented the flowers at her launch
