    A picture indeed, Chris!
Have been a regular reader of your wife's excellent website
What an exceptional summer ... amazing
25 degress here in Aberdeen today!!!

I'm buggered for Tarbert next weekend
Engine trouble in the Caledonian led me to sail (literally) Sequoiah from Laggan Bridge back through the Caledonian most of the way to Inverness (Dochgarroch)
Engine used only for locking, with regular top-ups as the cast alloy pipe-bend housing the thermostat had developed a hole through old age

Twas a good exercise and we had a soldier's wind for the sailing

Hopefully those good folks at Lancing Marine will be able to wave a magic wand and come up with the part (Ford York 2.4)

Standing by to get moving again  but it will be too late to get through to TT, which is a bugger

    C'est la vie!

Ach, we shall meet one day
    Just not this weekend
    Contemplated driving
But dicing with dozy tourists for hours is a fool's game
and the dog would be pissed off too
If all else fails I'll get the elbow fabricated
    Grrrrrr

Bless them, Lancing have come up with the goods
It is down to a bit of creative thinking by Martyn Fletcher
With luck the bits arrive tomorrow or Sat then vrooooom, head for the boat for the acid test
The main man at Lancing is Mike Bellamy who has also been very helpful over the past couple of years
Of course this doesn't get Sequoiah to Tarbert, but it should get her going again!
    27degC forecast for TT tomorrow!!!
Going to be a great weekend, Big Alan and I are bringing the rib and should meet Chris somewhere between Skipness and Carradale then back to Tarbert, can't wait if the lochs look like this.
