Brighter Hope on River Leven on Charlie Woods mooring
she was in girvan she was on passage had engine trouble she stayed for quite a while the owner was going home the night before he was going back aboard his foot caught on a rope couldnt get it clear thats the way they found him next day sad.
IF I REMEMBER RIGHT KING CLAM RONNIE BROWNIE FROM CARRADALE USED TO HAVE IT AT THE RING NET.
Can mind Ronnie with that one when we first came to Oban late 60s,Jim,I'm sure he was clamming with her then.Don't think she was an MFV Jay,I've a funny feeling she was a Scalloway build, maybe just after the war.
New member here - sailed on this boat in the early 60s out of Scalloway, long lining. Skipper was Jim Fullerton. Anyone know where she is now?
looks like an ex Admiralty MFV ... 45ft class
