Winch shifted from in front of the wheelhouse to behind skylight on foredeck looks a lot better and free's up the deck to allow the wheelhouse mods to begin. Near died when I priced hydraulic hose for the winch though not cheap.
Officer: OK, what tug did you nick the pleated hawser off?

Well Jay it was floating OK on the deck of a tug but it was floating therefor a reasonable claim to it when I liberated it from the deck.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That winch wouldn't o been much good when she worked the Clyde.
Guess not Freddy, this one was added as part of her conversion around 2002/3, hydaulic, need to run new pipes and change the pully ratio on the engine as to say it's slow is an understatement.
