WHAT HARBOUR IS THIS ?
this is portavogie in 1955 that when this photograph was taken.
Small boat on the right is Amity B 26 she was built as PL86. In September 1930 her engine failed entering Peel and she was damaged on the Creg Malin rocks. She was later sold to Portavogie. Years later she was sold again and sank on passage to Cumbria, off St Bees by her new owners. Does anyone have info on this incident? She was built by my grandfathers brother David Craine who was lost on the Manx Lily PL43 in 1945.
