    Whats the story here ? A protest of some kind good fish getting couped on the quay
    then whats the piles on the ground / in the bags ? and whats on the dish right hand side of the pic?

    Fecks sake Iain thought you widae kent, Guy on left is shoveling salt on the herring and guy on right is mixing the salt through them, the others are waiting tae pounce as they have the fresh ayrshires to go with them in the shed back of the hoose ye ken ould bouy, the dish might be a kindae masonic thing, you could enquire but  find out thats a secret

    The North East equivalent was Peterheid herrin and Lonmay tatties! (and I can mine on it!)
