In Washington, USA, Mr Kerry Bingham decided to bungee jump off the Tacoma Narrows Bridge shortly after a night long drinking binge.
Bingham and his friends found a disconnected power cable, tied one end to the bridge and the other to his leg, and Bingham then jumped off the bridge.
40 feet into his fall, the power cable tightened around Bingham's leg, ripping off his foot and making him fall into the cold water. He was later picked up by a fisherman alive.
