I took this a few years ago Jay, recent pictures of show a bit of deterioration not sure if up for sale.
Does anybody know her history?
Cheers Brian
A shame that such a strong boat did not find a sympathetic retirement home!!!
It was about 18 months ago that I spotted her on one of those bids websites. No idea if she was sold at the time. Was then apparently on the hard at Portavadie

Jay, a bit of info on this site if you search Brilliant Star and latest pictures.
Do you have any update re Margaret Alison.

Aye, I'll have a keek
Re MA, the last I heard was from Mike Craine; he sent a cracking pic of her looking very smart a few years ago ... then in the Med
Since then I've not heard a squeak re her whereabouts
If she's still afloat then she'll be 75 or 76 years old
Heavens, even the last handful or so of Noble ringers built in the 70s are all 40 or so years old
By the way, I've registered an interest with Phil R in coming to the trad boat gathering next summer
Sequoiah will be 40 next year so we'll celebrate that at the Crinan Classic and then trundle through to Tarbert, so will see thee then I guess
Cheers

Brian, I'd forgotten about BigAlan's post of not very many weeks back. BS looks so down at heel
Look forwards to seeing you at the Tarbert Traditional next summer. Re MA she looked good for many more years when I saw her in Majorca few years back. The pic MC sent you was from a local post card. Miguel who owned her also owned a nice hotel and offered boat trips as part of the hotel stay.
Jay I've got loads of pictures of BS inside and out if you want I can send them to you.

Alan, what's her present status.....deserted, for sale or being restored?
Is this before she was lifted out, sort of worked on and then abandoned and offered for sale? Or is there hope yet for the old girl?
