This inscription is on one of the Deck Beams on Robert Scott, BCK331.
We are told the boat was originally named Fruitful Vine (PD419) and had a number of names and ports of regisrty until she was finally registered as the Roberts Scott, BCK331 in 2003.
However, the inscription looks far older than 2003 to us. And, why is there no PD419 inscription, if this were her original number?
I've added a comment re carving on the picture of the boat over the stbd quarter. Good to see a series of photos of the boat. I have her listed as BCK331 in 1993 so the carving will predate then. At that time she was owned by Kevin Moore at Gwynedd. She had a 180hp Cat in her then.
