TT48 was the May, that was around 1961/62 neighboured the Anne Marie when Evelyn was either getting re-engined or new wheelhouse, my first experience of the ringing

How did Anne Marie end her days?
She was sold to Ireland in the middish 70s, but how long did she last after that. As I recall, Evelyn also went to Ireland. Anyone know of her eventual fate?

Great picture of two Weatherhead boats from different decades.
As the May left TT in 1959 (same as me!) the photo will be late 50's.  I was told the Evelyn was re engined in 61 and it would make sense to replace the wheelhouse at the same time but I was told she had a new wheelhouse a few years earlier....call for James or Willie!
Re the final destinations Jay......AM to Burtonport 1984, 10 years salmon and dog fishing (info from this site a couple of years ago) and later to West Kerry , crabs owner Brosnan Co Clare Carrigaholt 1986.  2009 seen derelict on beach there.
1985 Evelyn to Aranmore as Boy's Pride, later sold toMayo/Sligo area....... trail stopped!
So the mystery continues Jay, but perhaps some Irish site members can give us more detail.
Remember the pair of em coming to WY  at the ring net what a treat they were to see, always in beautiful condition, classy boats with loving and caring skippers and crews, a credit to Tarbert.
