first was sapphire then topaz then volantis and finally deep cygnus all built at fosna yard and owned by volstad shipping of norway sapphire is now owned by bibby and topaz is long term charter not sure who volantis and deep cygnus are on for
fine boat there dive support rov ky16 and thanks for the info john i mind seein the topaz in aberdeen getting work done she had quite a few flipflops on
the company volstad has just had grand canyon delivered and they have another due next year 126m then a further one in 2014

noprobs ky16 alot of money eh i wouldnt mind a job on 1 of those but bibby has got quite a few phillys onboard herd havila is getting rid of foriegners like good wage onboard 1 of them at least 168 a day for riggers stage 3 riggers get at least 298 are summik
as a britt the only jobs available that i know of are bridge with dp ticket engineer or crane opp sparrows 2 and plenty sub sea hours don't know about riggers.
so that be sparrows stage 2 ab crane op
that's the minimum but you gotta get the subsea experience before they take you on and the reason they have philipino ab's is because they will work for so much less than a britt.
