    ba 50 marie my grandpas boat before getting the marie ba 211 built at girvan

    no 100% but was she a fairlie built boat
    Chris4444 this is one for you you'll notice that the mast head tabernackle on Marie is round the same way yours is after all the negative comments you got.  Same rigging set up to looks great.

    Jammy she a cracking looking boat looks like a Fairlie stern on her very similar to the Golden West and Venture

    When was she built Jammy?
    She was sold to Carradale skippered/owned by the late great Donnely MacMillan
    Jammy have another go and get it right or Doody will give you a belt in the earhole.
    was the Marie a post war Fairlie boat ?  hadn't noticed the masts alan but good to see
    wonder what engines the boats had in this pic, bet their crankshafts  had less than 3mm of end float
