    looks like the champers has not broken yet,
    i see a thin rope leading back up the way probably attached to the bottle
    to be broken when ready..

    Heard a story once that she was on the  beach at P S towards the end and Little cut the end of a broom shank to plug a hole in her . True or false don t know.
