Had a trip to the Musum of Scotland store yesterday, organised by Marischal Ellis. This was the first model out of the cupboard. A beautiful model built by D C Peebles of Cellardyke and acquired by the museum in 1939. Model 1.24th scale. This was the biggest Fifie ever built at 83ft.

Yes, Jay. Considering the age of this old lady, she looked amazing. Some cracks appearing in all models but I was assured that a humidity and temperature controlled store is to be built soon. Hopefully all models will benefit from it.
