fair idea what happened there same happened to us same place too big tide and a gale o wind one night we were in there pontoon got jammed at low water held us doon woken up with water running oor ma feet surveyer that came came away wi some bullshit reason that it wasnt nothing to doo wi the marina not at fault nothing to doo wi two big barges the other side pushin up on the pontoon wi wind told about it too later doo the line found out the surveyer done all the marinas wisnae going to shoot himself in the foot ended up wi a forty grand job to pay ourselfs we were lying next berth inside where this has happened
only boat near him was the ranger, no wind, little tide i've a fair idea what happened too 
know where your coming from big ian, last thing i do every night is coil the deck wash ON the deck !!!!!
