Slipway winding house

The structure has been clad with the 'Das pronto'.  Easy stuff to work with but there are rules to be obeyed in applying it.  The base has to be coated with PVA glue then the das pronto applied to the damp glue.  The inside of the structure also has to be coated with the pva otherwise there is too much tension on the outside of the building resulting in unwanted curved walls.  Roof has been clad with card slates. Note: some chipped, slipped or missing.  Window frames and doors made from plastic sheet and test fitted in there apertures. I opted for the 12 pane windows.  More work but adds to the 'older look'.

Bloody Hell Will, is there nothing you can't do?.  Wish I had the time.Pretty hot over here , it's forecast for the hottest spell in 47 years, 38-41 degrees C for the next 7 days  39 today.  will have to stay in the office all day.

Good morning Dave, or is it evening? It didn't really take a lot of time, just a lot of time thinking about how I make them.
Jings, you've got an office job? I guess that temperature would be pretty uncomfortable. Once worked in an office (terrapin hut) which was that hot. We're supposed to have the Northern Lights over here but too much cloud just now.
    Best wishes,
    Will

Yes, but what we really want to see is your train set!

Well, Jay. I am trying to get enthusiastic about the railway. I'm even buying magazines to try and and kick-start it. All the platforms have suffered severe storm damage and the track needs attention. Still, retirement looms though my daughter tells me I'm going to be a grandad so I'll have to visit Austria on a regular basis. Far enough when she was in Germany.  There's no even an airport near. Must look at Ryan Air. LOl

Ye gods, reads like Railtrack after a puff of wind and rain? Or is it Beeching on an abandoned line just before the tracks get ripped up?
And the engines? Are they in Barry scrapyard condition now?
Bloody hell! A grandad in waiting!

Ah well, the platforms really suffered (ripped up) wi Hurricane Bawbag and it's big bro'. Bird poo and falling branches closed the branch line to Rothbury (pardon the pun).  The rolling stock is serviced and mothballed ready for action again. Nothing like Barry scrapyard. There have been Beeching type cuts but the rest of the track will be refurbed and remain. Corrosion of fishplates is a problem after 8 years.
Will, I should have retired last year, but now I'm working as a consultant, ( Petro-Chem Industry). I get my own office in the centre of Perth City overlooking the River Swan. So things aren't so bad as this age.

Well, I'm definitely gonna retire in May. Fifty years of paying more than my share of taxes is enough although the buggers are gonna have some of my pension in tax. Shoulda been a banker.
