That was 14 1/2 baskets in that side and there was 15 in the other from 2x 1.5hr hauls...4 aside...mega hauls..that 3hrs towing grossed in the region of £1400

You could not of got much your second tow, nearly 20 bags your first unless it was poor money you were getting.

imho; ther aint 14.5 baskets on that sidedeck, 2 tows or not

14 1/2 baskets with clams in them, maybe.

you want more pics,photo copies of the log book.seems we have some green eyed monsters coming out,£70 a bag for 20 bags makes £1400 sylvestor if you need help counting..Approx 7 dozen scallops to a basket with these from liverpool bay,they are very large scallops and that deck from gunnel to wheelhouse on jackie anne is  4 foot wide with 3 foot of gunnels.... .Its a double decker homeward,2 hauls 1 on top of the other,7 bskts then 6 1/2 ..They are near a foot and a half deep...What it seems is that some ppl think you cant catch that amount in 2 hauls,best ive heard of is azula at peel bank doing 40+ baskets in ONE haul 9 aside.....As for your comment puddlejumper yes i did get caught in a closed box,big deal...Last year 26 boats got nailed poaching down wales,some more than once and if there is a fisherman out there that hasnt fleeced the rules a little once in their life i take my hat off to them.Oh and this is liverpool bay,NO closed boxes....

40 plus baskets in one haul thats nothing, i was in the forte bar one friday night and bagged 300 o clams ,shovelled 60 ton of herring, put 1000 boxes of rockall haddies below and landed 40 boxes o guid prawns oot the deep water for a short day on a friday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
